Some interesting gossip flying in the industry i.e Tamanna will be dominating existing heroins in case of glamour. Mostly it has been a while since folks have been talking about the competition between the petite beauty Trisha and the hot Malayalam beauty Nayantara for the top slot but according to sources from Kollywood, all that is a thing of the past and it is time now for a new battle that has begun.

This is said to be happening between Trisha and the milk white beauty Tamannah who has been causing enough ripples in the Tamil circuit with her honey filled eyes and a highly innocent but seductive look. Incidentally, the projects that have seen Trisha walking out saw Tamannah coming in.

However, all eyes are now on the 27th of this month when the two beauties will be taking on each other in the Tamil circuit. While Trisha will be seen with her movie ‘Sarvam’, Tamannah will be seen with her ‘Ananda Thandavam’ and to make things more interesting, both movies are said to be heroine oriented. Tamanna going to No.1 in Tollywood N kollywood

we can expect from our beloved tami ..going to be place No.1 place among the heroins in telugu N tamil @ a same time.In coming month itself 3 movies are going to hit the screen in telugu and two movies for tamil screen. Kaloori already a big hit in tamil and it is dubbed into telugu ,named as "kalasala" and going to be release in coming month ,audio was released day before yesterday . Kalasala songs were too nice and probably it will be a sensation .
Another Movie is Vedokkadey, it has the lot of expectations from both telugu and tamil audiences. This film is coming from big banner and stardum hero ghajini fame "SURYA" acted beside to our tami. I hopes it will give a sensational success for Tamanna and surya too. This movie helps tamanan to be a lead heroin from both industries. although Tami alredy got the success in Tamil with Kaloori ,it is a glamorus and perfomance oriented role...it will denotes industry and fans ,she can suits for all type of roles.Songs of the Vedokkadey is very nice and cool melodies. Audio will hundred percentage helps the movie hit.

Another movie is anadathandavam...audio already released and got the good response from listeners . Expecting this also get good response from viewers as like audio.

Tamanna shot to fame with her portrayal of Madhu character in the blockbuster Happy Days. She got equally busy in Tamil and Telugu film industry. She is playing the role of a village girl Geeta in 5 February release KIKK. Here is the exclusive interview of Tamanna Bhatia -



How is life after the success of Happy Days movie?
Happy Days success made me busy in Telugu and Tamil film industries. I am doing all quality projects now.

How did KIKK happen?
I was looking to do a quality love story and KIKK came on my way. It was a perfect choice for me. I am playing the role of Geeta. I am doing the role of a village girl for the first time in my career. Geeta is also understated and sober person. She has principles and certain views which she follows religiously. It is a sweet character.

How is like working with Siddhardh?
I saw Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana and Siddhardh is a fabulous actor. I also loved Rang De Basanthi. We make a perfect couple of KIKK. Siddhardh is awesome in love stories.

Tell us about the director Kishore Kumar?
Though he is a first timer, you do never feel that you are working with a debutant director. He is confident about the script. Script is the biggest plus of the film. He has got great organization skills which made the jobs of us easier. We finished the shoot as per the schedule because of his planning.

How is Bujji as a producer?
He is thorough professional and would go to any extent to get his product right.

What do you think will be highlights of the film?
Apart from the script, music and the combination of Siddhardh and Prakash Raj are going to be highlights.

    1. Music: Music is interwoven with the story. All the numbers of KIKK are melodious and meaningful. Music will pep-up the film and raise the levels of emotional scenes.

    2. Prakash Raj – Siddhardh combination: Prakash Raj and Siddhardh make the perfect pair of father and son. They played as father and son in NVNV and Bommarillu. But their relationship in KIKK is going to be entirely different.

Which language do you prefer – Telugu or Tamil?
My preference is always to the script. Not to any language.

What do you look for in scripts?
I look for the pace (speed) in narration. I feel that pace is very important along with the emotions for any film.

What are the other projects you are doing now?
I am currently doing the Tamil remake of Jab We Met which is being produced by Moser Baer. Bharat (Premiste fame) plays male lead. I am also doing another Tamil film in Lingu Swamy direction. Karthik plays the hero. I got offers in huge projects of Telugu cinema including that of Mahesh Babu, but could not accept them due to dates problem.

Who is your role model as an actress?
I grew up watching Madhuri Dixit films. Madhuri Dixit is my role model.

What is your dream role?
Chandramukhi character played by Jyothika.

Did you watch any movies recently?
I watched Ghajini and Slumdog Millionaire. I loved both the films. I am highly impressed with the soundtrack of Slumdog Millionaire. It is as haunting as that of Titanic soundtrack.

What are your all time favorite movies?
Titanic, Moghul E Azam, Life is Beautiful, Dil To Pagal Hain and DDLJ.

How do you maintain your fitness?
I do make sure that I workout for 30 minutes to one hour every day. I do run, exercise or dance. Consistency is important.

What about diet?
I avoid fattening foods (fried or oily). I don't stop any anything, but eat little bit of everything. I eat in small quantities.

How do you manage your looks?
I have to take care of what God has given me. I do sleep a lot. I do take off make-up as soon as the shooting is over. I do take right food. The body recuperates faster if our diet is good.

What are your hobbies?
I sleep a lot. I do watch lots of films in my spare time. I do relax and prefer to me along whenever I find some idle time. I do also write poetry and quotations. I am a day-dreamer.

Do you have a facebook profile?
I don't have a facebook profile. But some miscreant created a profile on my name with my photographs and got himself/herself into the friends list of many celebrities
. I am going to launch a complaint with cyber police now. The same thing happened with Varun Sandesh too in the past.-edisangati

Hi,

   Yesterday I have watched KIKK. But I do not have time to write…but one thing I can tell you i.e.  It 's  a family entertainer like " Bommarillu".  Director  shows very well abt human relations and how ego 's changed life's of couples. It is well suited for couple's(lovers, married). It's a worth watching movie.

Review

Story Siddhardh is a playful youngster with no emotions. His parents get separated in his childhood and he stays with his mother. He falls in love with Geeta (Tamanna) who comes to Hyderabad from a village. When she introduces him to her father (Nassar) he says the he would give the hand of his daughter to him if Siddhardh unites his parents. The rest of the story is all about how Siddhardh unites his parents (Ramya Krishna and Prakash Raj). Artists Performance Siddhardh is lovable in the role of a youngster. His emotions in the drinking scene are nice. His costumes suited him well. Tamanna is good as the girl who is torn between her father and her lover. Prakash Raj got lot of dignity to the role of father character he portrayed. He is excellent. There is a scene in which he acts like Robert Di Nero by saying 'Aren't you proud of me?' three times (There is a famous 'are you talking to me?' episode in Taxi Driver film). Nassar is fair. Ramya Krishna is just ok in the role of doting mother with an attitude. Karuna and Samrat are adequate as buddies. Brahmanandam is good in most of the scenes (especially when he listens to 'yeem' in phone during Geetanjali spoof episode). Venu Madhav is good though his comedy is of mass type. Technical departments Story: Story of the film is nicely divided into two parts. The first half is about two youngsters falling it love and hence it is targeted to the youth. The interval block is about heroine's father putting a condition. The second half is about the couple uniting the parents of hero which is targeted towards the family crowds. The whole film is based on the point that Prakash Raj and Ramya Krishna are separated. The reasons for the separation are not effectively established in the film. Hence the basic foundation of the entire film appears flimsy. Screenplay – direction: Screenplay of the film is adequate. Direction of the film is good in parts. The narration is very slow. The director did well in second half while handling emotional scenes. But he could not get it right when it comes to the romance aspect in the first half. He should be commended the way he integrated the songs into the film. The thread of 'crossing marks on the people you dislike' ('flushing the photo in toilet' from Jab We Met?) is interesting. Vankai curry thread is also good. The characterizations should have been more consistent. Both Siddhardh and Tamanna characters in second half behave little amateurish from the scene when they quarrel about Geeta's surname. Other departments: Songs scored by Shankar Ehsaan Loy are excellent and they are picturized well and placement is perfect. Songs are so good that they dominated the story narration in the film. Lyrics by Sirivennela and Chandrabose are good. Mani Sharma's background score is nice in the second half. Cinematography by Vijay C Chakravarthy is excellent. Dialogues by Abburi Ravi are neat in the second half. There are sentiment-oriented dialogues like 'Evarikaina problem vaste amma nanna daggaraku veltaru. Amma nanne problem aithe?' and Trivikramish lines like 'nenu kaalu tho break veyyaledu, jaalitho break vesa' (Brahmanandam). Editing by Srikar Prasad is adequate. Producer Nallamalupu Bujji should be commended for trusting his technicians and making this film with high technical standards. Analysis: First half of the film is average. Second half has got emotional content. The plus points are excellent songs and emotions in second half. The negative point of the film is slow-paced narration (2:50 hours runtime). The scenes towards climax appear prolonged. On a whole, KIKK is an okay film that is targeted towards family crowds. KIKK is not a film for the morning show crowds. It is more targeted towards second show crowds (family crowds).

The packaging is good. Siddharth, Tamanna, Prakashraj and Ramya Krishna. A debutante director, a new-age production design and music by Shankar-Eshaan-Loy. A one-line sweet and simple concept. It could have well been another Bommarillu. Alas. The concept, though sweet and simple, is not new. Without the novelty factor, the direction which is neither lacklustre nor note-worthy puts the movie right in the middle ground here. The movie goes about on it's own pace, with it's own set of comic scenes and characters, used at the right times and places. Story picks up in the second half..clean, family..entertainment? Possibly. Or not.

Plot Siddhartha is a flirtatious young man into whose life walks in Geeta, her father's pet. Siddhu's parents have separated more than a decade ago and this is an issue with Geeta's father when they confess their love towards each other to him. How Siddhu will overcome this problem and unite his parents for his own union with Geeta is the storyline.

Story, Screenplay and Direction Siddhu's character starts off with an interesting wave of incidents, where he is an unapologetic flirt. Then there is a sob story about how he has no tears anymore because his parents separated when he was just a kid. Then he sheds one single drop of tear for Geeta, and knows that it's love. They fight, they make up and he changes for her. He teaches his father 'about love'. Ramya Krishna lives the stern single-mother life, where she walked out of a few years old marriage because her husband doesn't spend time with her.

There are those 'cute' touches to a movie such as this. Still, those lack what we call 'punch'. Brahmanandam is cricket-crazy Gacchibowli Diwakar. Geeta teaches Siddhu's mother to cross her estranged husband's photograph to relieve herself of anger. The concepts in themselves are not uninteresting, but the presentation is imperfect. Not to mention underplayed at the wrong times. The background score could have been better too. The writing, direction and editing are all not bad in themselves, but they do not come together in this movie. They somehow don't make one whole wherein you can see where the movie has it's heart, it's soul and it's brain. Together.

Overall, what you have to say is sometimes immaterial and it's all about how you say it. What the maker had to say is actually quite nice. How it's been said-considering the production scale-is a little more upbeat than a short flick or a small-budgeted no-star movie. The conflict is given and the solution is thought of immediately and the progress starts off to a shaky beginning only to get predictable in 20 seconds flat.

Performances Siddhartha playing his namesake has become slightly monotonous, but carries the movie along pretty well. He fits the role, looks fit and very presentable, dances happily and romances with a flourish. Tamanna pairs nicely with him and does her whole huffing and puffing act of Happy Days all over again, with decent results. Prakashraj adds his brand to the role, Ramya Krishna's dubbing should have been better. Venumadhav and Brahmanandam add in the comic element smoothly. Nassar makes an impression.

Music and Choreography The music and dance is good, and Siddhartha entertains in all the songs. Two of the songs are especially fun, including Evade Subrahmanyam. Background is inconsistent. Re-recording is not at its best, even though the tunes are catchy.

Last Word An okay one-time watch, but only Konchem nice and cute and Konchem routine and repetitive.

Recently Tamanna's new film was released i.e Kalidasu. But it was flop .This film was too boring ,routine story and formula ... so many things were lagging in this film .i think may be that was the reason for flop.But our Tami has acted good enough but her utilisation was too less.Director of this movie concentrated on Hero(nephew of Nags) than rest of the things.I think this is also a one reason.In this film Tami was too charming and got more fans.Below we can see some pics from Kalidasu.
